Kishor Sanskriti Promotion Scheme (English: Youth Scientific Incentive Scheme) (KVPY) is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, whose goal is to encourage the students to take up research career in the areas of basic science. Students will be selected from BIC / BS / BST / B. In any of the undergraduate programs in basic science in Mathematics / INT, it is done in eleventh grade students. M.Sc./M.S. There is qualification for scientific research in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. Special groups / committees are established in IISc, for screening applications and conducting a qualification examination in different centers of the country. On the basis of performance in the merit test, the short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final step of the selection process. To get a fellowship, both qualification exams and interview points are considered.
Eligibility list is based on 75% weight and 25% weight-age for Attitude test scores for the mark of interview in SA, SB and SX streams.
